Early Life and Modeling Beginnings

Joely Live, born Joely Rice on January 27, 1999, in New York, embarked on her modeling journey at the tender age of five. Her early career featured appearances in over 40 national advertisements for renowned brands such as Barbie, Gap, Vogue Italia, Toys R Us, and Target. Notably, she graced the cover of Newsweek magazine at age seven and starred in a national Barbie commercial by age ten. Her modeling prowess led her to sign with IMG Models Worldwide, solidifying her presence in the fashion industry. 

Transition to Hosting and Journalism

At ten, Joely's passion for storytelling emerged when she won a competitive selection to become a Sports Illustrated Kid Reporter, surpassing 3,000 applicants. In this role, she interviewed prominent figures, including NFL athletes and media personalities. Her early exposure to journalism paved the way for her to host and produce content for platforms like the Young Hollywood television network, where she conducted interviews with celebrities, actors, musicians, and social media stars. She also initiated her own show, "#PhotoshootWithJoelyLive," on live.ly, engaging audiences with interactive content.

Pucker Up: A Digital Sensation

In May 2023, Joely launched "Pucker Up," a digital interview series where guests consume increasingly sour candies while answering progressively challenging questions. The show's unique format, reminiscent of "Hot Ones," quickly gained traction, amassing over 120 million views across social media platforms. "Pucker Up" has featured a diverse array of guests, from celebrities to everyday individuals, and has expanded into live events and pop-up experiences. In collaboration with IT'SUGAR, Joely introduced the "Pucker Up Sour Mystery Box," allowing fans to partake in the sour challenge from home. ​

Acting and Academic Pursuits

Joely ventured into acting with her role as Laura Markham in the 2015 feature film "Irrefutable Proof." She continued to explore on-camera opportunities while pursuing higher education. Joely attended SUNY Oswego, majoring in Broadcasting and Mass Communication, and maintained a 4.0 GPA. Her academic achievements complemented her professional endeavors, showcasing her dedication to both education and her career. ​

Residing in Los Angeles, Joely remains close to her family, including her older sister Jordan, an avid sports enthusiast.
